Hardware/software:
NUC 7i7-7567u
sata port2 samsung ssd 850 1Tb (boot) (raid 1 - sdb2-500Gb, sdb1 boot, sdb3 500Gb not in raid)
sata port 0 seagate 1Tb hybrid drive (raid 1 - sda1-500Gb, sda2-500Gb not in raid)
/dev/md127 (raid 1)
raid 1 - ( configured to use only 500Gb on each drive - allows other 1TB to be used for non-critical non-raid data)
Fedora 25-server (system has been running fine for over 2 years on the same hardware and software)

After cmos battery failed started getting the following error message and system boots into emergency mode.
[0.052233] ACPI exception: AE_BAD_Parameter, could not install PCIconfig handler for root bridge PC10 (20170531/evrgnini-245).
I did replaced the cmos battery and am getting the same message, and still booting into emergency mode (when booting, the system starts loading like normal, puts up gui screen, and while loading gui, before login, it goes into emergency mode).

In emergency mode I discovered the hybrid drive had been removed from raid.
I tried rebooting with the hybrid drive physically removed from NUC--same result booting as above.
I put the hybrid drive back in the NUC, and booted. Went back into emergency mode as before. I used mdadm to add the hybrid drive back into the raid. It succeeded, and then re-sync'd. That took several hours. It succeeded, with 2 active & clean drives.
I then rebooted and am getting the exact same behaviour - same message and boots into emergency mode.
I also installed latest bios, & reverted to default bios settings.
The journal log has basically the same error message.
Any idea what I could do next to try and recover? (I am not very well versed in the performing maintenance on fedora - please be explicit).

Thanks for any advice.latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=tLNXy92kmqw:fBXos17sKpU:F7zBnMy latest?i=tLNXy92kmqw:fBXos17sKpU:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=tLNXy92kmqw:fBXos17sKpU:gIN9vFwtLNXy92kmqw
