highlight selection over write ctrl -c ?!!

This is weird! What's wrong with it ?
I am using Endea Linux, just did twice in recent few days "pacman -Syu"
Suddenly i realize when i am in firefox, my ctrl-c being over written by mouse selection.
For example:
I highlighted the first line: "This is weird! What's wrong with it ? " then pressed ctrl +c
Then i use the mouse again to highlight the 7th line "For example:" , then press "ctrl-v" in any of the space; my paste result will be "For example".
This is my paste result of above example:
Code:For example:It should not be as above, it should be this --> "This is weird! What's wrong with it ? "
What went wrong ? why did mouse selection overwrite ctrl-c content ? ! Endea Linux bug ? or there is somewhere some setting being done wrongly due to the upgrade ?
man.. this kind of upgrade bring only bugs.. oh boy! lol
