The Cincinnati Bengals addressed their secondary with two key moves Tuesday.

The Bengals reached an agreement with former Dallas Cowboys cornerback Chidobe Awuzie on a three-year contract worth $21.75 million, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo and Tom Pelissero report.

Cincinnati also agreed to sign former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Mike Hilton to a four-year deal worth $24 million, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Awuzie has grown into a dependable contributor after the Cowboys selected him in the second round of the 2017 draft. He made just eight appearances in 2020 but played over 85% of Dallas' snaps during the two years prior.

The 25-year-old has recorded 37 career pass breakups and posted one interception in each of his four NFL seasons.

Hilton, 27, built a reputation as a physical slot corner during his tenure with the Steelers. He's notched seven interceptions, 9.5 sacks, and 30 tackles for loss over his career.

Awuzie and Hilton would be the Bengals' second and third free-agent additions after the team reportedly agreed to terms with pass-rusher Trey Hendrickson on a four-year, $60-million deal Monday.
