OTC Linux-Compatible Laptops?

We currently own a Samsung Series 3 Notebook NP300E5A-A05US laptop computer, with the following specs:
64-bit Processor
Intel(R) CoreTM i3-2310M Processor, 2.1 GHz CPU, Cache 3MB
LCD: Size 15.6"
Resolution: 1366 x 768
System Memory: 4GB
Memory Type: DDR3 (1333MHz)
Storage Capacity: 500GB
Storage Technology: 5400 RPM
Graphics Chipset: Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000
External or Integrated: Integrated
Maximum Graphics Memory: Shared
Sound: Effect SoundAliveTM
Web Cam: 0.3MP
Internal Mic: Yes
Wireless LAN: 802.11 b/g/n
USB Ports: 3 x USB 2.0
Certification: EPEAT Rating
ENERGY STAR(R) Certified
We'd like to purchase a new/used laptop with faster Intel processor, 8+GB RAM, and 250GB+ SSD. :D
Moreover, we'd like our new laptop to be amenable to a "painless installation" of Linux Mint 20.1 (Cinnamon), as was our current Samsung laptop; that is, no hunting for drivers or workarounds required.
We welcome your recommendations and personal experiences. Thank you!
