Report: Jaguars to sign Marvin Jones to 2-year, $14M contract
by Michael McClymont from on (#5FE2M)
The Jacksonville Jaguars are signing veteran receiver Marvin Jones to a two-year, $14.5-million deal, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
The 31-year-old spent the past five years with the Detroit Lions. He came 22 yards shy of reaching the 1,000-yard plateau in 2020 and has scored nine touchdowns in each of the past two campaigns.
Jones will reunite with Jaguars offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell, who held the same position with the Lions the past two seasons.
The Jaguars have had to rebuild their receiving corps, as DJ Chark is the only wideout under contract for the 2021 season.
