Need sever programing language to connect to mysql database?

I daily update the arch linux, after last update of php to php 8.0.3-1, php is no more working cannot connect to mysql database, i want to use other server language to retrieve data from mysql database, i use drop down menu same as like Country, State and City for mysql database, which other easy and free server programing language can do this job?
