SVGZ editor and saving as SVGZ
by SimonDevine from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5FESG)
I thought that it would be straightforward to open an SVGZ file in Inkscape, edit a layer and simply save it as a changed SVGZ file.
It's much more complicated than this, but if there is a simple way of doing such a thing, I'd love to know about it.
If it involves getting the hands really filthy with XML and jolly tough command line stuff, then it might be out of my league.
That said, if there is a way of doing this in a relatively easy way, it would be great to hear about it.
It occurred to me that the clock-face colour could be modified in the Analogue Clock Widget as I would like.
It's the clock.svgz in the Breeze theme that I am referring to here.
