The Miami Dolphins waived offensive tackle Isaiah Wilson less than two weeks after agreeing to acquire him from the Tennessee Titans, the team announced Saturday.

Wilson refused the Dolphins' efforts to help him get his life back on track while continuing the behavior that caused Tennessee to give up on the 29th overall pick in 2020, a league source told Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald.

The towering lineman endured a tumultuous rookie campaign in which he was suspended for violating team rules, was arrested for DUI, and played just three snaps.

After being traded, Wilson showed up late for his physical with Miami and skipped two optional workouts he had previously committed to attend, a source told Beasley.

A series of videos were briefly posted on the 22-year-old's Instagram account Friday, including what appeared to be him smoking and dancing shirtless on a car.

Releasing Wilson won't cost the Dolphins anything in 2021, as all of his salary guarantees were already voided. But draft compensation as part of the trade won't be returned.
