Old Toshiba Chromebook
by fatmac from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5FN4R)
I bought a Toshiba Chromebook (pre used) just to see what they were like, didn't like ChromeOS, & subsequently installed my regular Linux onto it, but never had any sound output.
Well, I put the Raspberry Desktop for PC version of Debian onto it the other day, it's mainly a 32bit system, but has a 64bit kernel, etc.
Anyway, the gist is, I now have sound via HDMI, or bluetooth.
It has now become a 'full use' laptop. :)
