Bills sign Breida to 1-year pact
The Buffalo Bills have signed running back Matt Breida to a one-year contract, the team announced Thursday.
Breida spent the 2020 season as a member of the Miami Dolphins, rushing for 254 yards on 59 carries while averaging 4.3 yards per rush.
The Georgia Southern alum spent his first three NFL seasons with the San Francisco 49ers, tallying 1,902 yards and five yards per carry to go along with six scores.
Breida now joins a Buffalo backfield featuring fellow runners Devin Singletary and Zack Moss.
The Bills' latest acquisition provides the offense with an experienced receiving threat from the tailback position. Breida has hauled in 76 receptions for 657 yards and four touchdown receptions through four seasons.
