Gender Inequality Isn't the Problem With the Draft

Currently, all American men are required to register for the draft through the Selective Service System when they turn 18, and could be forced into military service if the draft was activated. Now, some are saying that women should be required to register as well. But putting the inequality aside, the more important issue here is whether involuntary conscription has any place in a free society to begin with.
