CCTV monitoring/Recording software that works on LINUX Mint 20.1 ?

Are relatively new to Linux and are finding it difficult to find any CCTV / VMS software that can be installed correct !! (LINUX Mint Cinnamon 20.1).
Have tried "Zoneminder" and other similar programs, they apparently installs correct, but can not be found anywhere and therefore not started or enter into a setup mode.
Have anybody had any luck with installing this type of programs ? Lyngerup
