Keyring and permissions denied

Greetings
I am having an issue with default keyring with network manager.
I went through this thread forward and backwards, still had issues.

I tried a line to access passwords(system->administration->keyring).
Said access denied, tried with sudo, same thing.
I am trying to access my Network manager to run my vpn. I have tried
every password I have ever used.
Please help, I am very green at CLI work, and the GUI wasn't helpful.
