broadcom wifi compiling and linux desktop enviroment loading problem

I compiled and loaded the wifi driver into a kernel, but after reboot, my user desktop/GUI failed to load. only recovery mode is working (with ethernet connection). So I think that problem is caused by incorrect wifi compiling or loading in the kernel and now I am confused about what can I do to solve its problem.
