Police say they’ve identified driver in Niagara-on-the-Lake fatality

Niagara Regional Police say they've identified the driver of a pickup truck that was involved in a fatality in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Police said the driver of a Ford F150 was travelling east on Lakeshore Road when a pedestrian was struck by the passenger side of the vehicle.
A 40-year-old man from Niagara-on-the-Lake died.
Police were called to the area of McNab Road at 7:18 a.m. Monday to assist paramedics and located the deceased male on the side of the road.
The incident is still being investigated by the collision reconstruction unit and as of Tuesday morning, no charges had been announced.
