Change HD mnt name or ID
by Osmario from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5GFHJ)
Hello
I have a notebook with an SSD (/ home) and an internal hard drive where I keep music, videos and ebooks. This internal hard drive is identified by a mounted id as 17b7d00b-69e7-41f1-a99e-a6cc51879381
When I need to access it through the terminal, it is difficult to type all these numbers and letters that identify it.
Is it possible to change this mnt id to something easier to type in the terminal?
Thanks in advance
Osmario.
