'OpenSnitch' manual firewall,
by hkjz from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5GK88)
Hello,
recently i have start using 'OpenSnitch' manual firewall, it is nice addon to iptables with OUTPUT Accept policy.
Every time i start system those 4 are blocked by firewall. What are they?
1. /usr/sbin/avahi-daemon
2. /usb/sbin/cups-browsed
3. /usr/sbin/exim4
4. /usr/sbin/ntpd
This two want to be loaded when i start other software:
5. /usr/lib/gvfs/gvfsd-smb-browse (can be connected with crontab)
6. /usr/sbin/xtables-nft-multi (can be connected with iptables)
7. /usr/sbin/ntpd - happens sometimes
it is interesting to be partially curious, I suspect that all these files are somehow connected to underlying system functions. Should I unlock them?
