Huawei E3372 HiLink can not display WEB GUI
by mackowiakp from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5GYDX)
I use Huawei E3372 HiLink LTE dongle. Because I changed operator and SIM card, it is necessary to change PIN code and APN name. But I can not display WEB GUI of this dongle.
The dongle is seen by system as Ethernet port with IP address 192.168.8.1 (as ifconfig stands). But when I try to connect from Chrome it does not display WEB GUI.
Windows 10 does not support this type of modem. In Linux it was necessary to add appropriate file for this modem in usb_modeswitch definitions dir.
After such adding the dongle is seen with proper IP, that is 192.168.8.1.
How can I get into WEB GUI?
