First responders rescued a man that fell into the gorge below Albion Falls Saturday.
Hamilton firefighters were called to the falls at 5 p.m. to help a person who reportedly had a broken arm and leg after falling 9 metres.
Police and bylaw were at the scene, below the viewing platform, with the injured man, prior to the fire department's arrival.
Firefighters set up to preform a rope rescue to bring the man up the escarpment.
Photos from the scene show the man in a basket stretcher being pulled up by a group of first responders.
Assistant Deputy Chief Carla MacDonald said that by 6:40 p.m. the man had been pulled up from the gorge and transferred to paramedics."
