On Day 9 of Premier Doug Ford's 14-day self-isolation after being exposed to a COVID case, the Ontario government announced it will provide people with three paid sick days. It's better than nothing, but it's not enough. It smacks of a middle ground between two wrong ideas, and so lands, like so much this government attempts, in the middle of nowhere.
