CUPS models list

Hi all,
I have two Oracle 7 servers with CUPS configured with the exact same RPMs and PPDs in /usr/share/cups/model/foomatic-db-ppds/HP yet one lists several more HP models than the other in the UI's "Add Printer" Model drop-down list. I've done all the find and grep commands I could think of but cannot find what is different. If I put a specific model PPD in that directory and restart cupsd it see that but the server without that PPD shows that model (HP LaserJet 4100) and scores more. Where else would PPDs be made known from to CUPS? It almost seems like there's some db or cache somewhere. I'm stumped. Thanks in advance.
