Montreal Canadiens captain Shea Weber did not play Friday against the Winnipeg Jets due to an upper-body injury, the team announced.

Defenseman Erik Gustafsson slotted in on Montreal's blue line.

With Weber out of the lineup for the first time this season, here's what the team's defensive pairings looked like:
