Monterrey eliminated MLS' Columbus Crew SC, 5-2, aggregate score to advance to the 2021 CONCACAF Champions League Semifinals. Maximilliano Meza scored two goals in the first 26 minutes of the game. Monterrey won the second leg, 3-0. They advance to face Cruz Azul in the next round.
