NFL teams allowed to host training camp away from main site in 2021
The NFL told teams Friday they'll be allowed to host summer training camp at locations other than their main site, according to a memo obtained by TheMMQB's Albert Breer.
The league prohibited clubs from going away for training camp last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Teams with intentions to hold their camp at a different site in 2021 must submit a plan to the NFL, which will review it before potentially approving it. Those plans must be sent to the league as late as June 11.
Several teams have long hosted training camp at locations other than their main site.
The league hasn't yet announced whether it'll allow teams to hold joint practices this summer. The activity was also halted last year due to the pandemic.
