nmcli radio wifi-hw off ?

hi i would like to know how to turn off WIFI-HW and WWAN-HW
STATE CONNECTIVITY WIFI-HW WIFI WWAN-HW WWAN
connected full enabled disabled enabled disabled
Ive tried nmcli radio wifi-hw off , with no luck

Another question. i was using sudo rfkill block all previously and once the command was entered the airplane mode symbol was visible, it no longer displays and when i type sudo rfkill list , it does not display anything. does anyone know why rfkill has stopped working ? ive tried removing the pkg and reinstalling it with no luck.
