[SOLVED] Gnome theming and UI elements broken after installing KDE
by torronto from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5HMTH)
Not that it's a huge problem but, after installing and purging plasma5 on ubuntu GNOME i still have a got of weird UI hick-ups like the window action buttons using the KDE-style theming and some minor theming problems in QT applications. I realize most of these problems can be solved my removing all traces of KDE from my system, but how can i do this quickly and efficiently? I really don't feel like spending several hours in the terminal just do remove all the KDE crap. Also, i'm pretty sure i removed all kde-related dotfiles from my home folder, but is there a possibility the install scripts could of messed with my GNOME configs?
