Errors in Gnome themes for apps Ubuntu 20.04

Hi all
I'm using Ubuntu 20.04 and as usual I have downloaded some themes from gnome-look.org but only a few of them really work.
I've followed the installation instructions to unpack the themes in my home/myname/.themes directory.
Than I've used Gnome-tweaks to install them. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall gnome-tweaks without success. I am sure thate many themes worked since two weeks ago such as Adwaita. Now no more.
What os the cause of this behaviour? It depends from a GTK issue or other?
Dont' ask me why, only DarkCold and a few other works now.
Can you help me?
