Old guy getting back into linux.

Hello all, my name is Mike and I work for an automotive manufacturing plant. Been more than 20+ years since i've messed with linux. the old days were scsi chained hard drives with terminators. lol. the machines were powerful back then but only if you spent tons of money which we did at that company. It too was automotive but i was in the tech center working with a bunch of egg heads from all types. chemist, engineers, and of course the big shot's in management just to name a few.
