Broken installatin after upgrading to Gnome40
by gbossstyle from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5J0TX)
Hi all,
Using Fedora 33 and for some reason I decided to upgrade to Gnome40.
I had some issues with pg4 installations when upgrading from the terminal, although I thought they were unfound repo urls so I just removed these from the repo file.
It restarted multiple times but didn't pick up the new changes, should have suspected something was wrong.
Then after the next restart after entering the encrypted disk password it fails to go into the user login screen and just get the plain white screen with 'oh no something went wrong'.
I'm unable to login via terminal, for some reason I get on terminal on the password screen but then it comes back and fails again with the white screen.
I'm on the live usb terminal now with my root directory mounted, how do I fix this thing as I don't want to copy my home dir and restart again.
