Minnesota Wild head coach Dean Evason confirmed forward Marcus Johansson suffered a broken arm during Game 3 against the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday, according to The Athletic's Michael Russo.

The injury occurred when Johansson crashed into the goal post after stepping on the puck while driving in.

Evason was noncommital on who will replace Johansson in the lineup moving forward. When asked if it would be veteran Zach Parise, who has been a healthy scratch, he declined to confirm it.

"We're going to evaluate and make a decision," Evason said, according to Star Tribune Sports' Sarah McLellan.

Johansson finished the regular season with six goals and eight assists in 36 games. The Swedish winger was pointless through three games in the postseason.
