Mint Mate 19.3 How To Display Grub Menu At Boot Time, and Help Screen Is Displayed Instead
by lex luthier from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5JDF4)
Tried searching the site again, after several tries I got the database error again.
I need to learn whether the grub menu can be made to display at bootup in this version.
My system does not include gksu, so all attempts at changing /etc/default/grub have been futile.
Also, while trying to display the grub menu by tapping the esc key after powering the desktop on, I do get a menu listing a bunch of commands available.
Don't know if it is normal that the command names list starts with the letter N.
I tried "help" and got a long list of copmmands available.
Would someone please help with answers, and/or refer me to any websites, tutorials etc so I can do the studying?
Thanks much, lex
My System:
System:

Thanks Again !
