Hamilton under heat warning until Monday

Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for Hamilton.
Temperatures are expected to soar to as high as 34 C over the weekend with little reprieve overnight - the lows are expected to hover around 20 to 22 C.
The humidex is forecast to hit 37 on Sunday around noon.
Environment Canada said the heat warning will remain in effect through Monday, but may last into Tuesday."
Temperatures are forecast to reach a high of 29 C and low of 20 C Monday with a mix of sun and clouds.
The national weather service said the persistent heat and humid air could cause air quality in the city to deteriorate.
The risks during heat warnings are greater for young children, pregnant women, older adults, people with chronic illnesses and people working or exercising outdoors, Environment Canada said.
