WIFI drops - Latitude E6410 - Linux Mint 19.3
by gkaucher from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5JTVS)
The WIFI on my Latitude E6410 has been working fine for many years on strictly Ubuntu and Linux Mint. I am trying to determine if the internal network controller (Intel Corporation Centrino Advanced-N 6200 rev. 35) is going bad or one of my recent upgrades caused a software problem. Currently I'm on Linux Mint 19.3.
It usually connects and then drops after 10 minutes or so. I disabled WIFI power management. That seemed to improve things a little, but it still drops out. Every other device in my house works fine with no dropping the connection.
If someone can give me the commands to post in a terminal to troubleshoot this I would like to give it a shot.
Thanks,
Gary
