compiling T4Uv3_WiFi_linux_v5.3.1_beta

I've been trying to compile T4Uv3_WiFi_linux_v5.3.1_beta with the source provided by the manufacturor and keep getting errors that look like coding complaints. The code was supposedly written for gcc-5.4.0 and I'm using gcc-10.2.0. When I tried using gcc-5.3.0 (the nearest Slackware package I can find) I get the same errors. I've tried compiling gcc-5.4.0 from source and that's not working also.

Has anyone been successful compiling any of the tp-link archer T4Uv3 goodies? I'm beginning to think they put out some code that's outdated and don't seem to care as long as they sell products.
