Peyton Manning continues to be the most in-demand asset for NFL broadcasters.

Amazon "has grappled with the idea" of pursuing Manning as its main analyst, Andrew Marchand of the New York Post reports. Amazon Prime Video's exclusive rights to Thursday Night Football will begin next season.

The former Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos signal-caller has reportedly turned down multiple offers from ESPN and Fox since retiring from the NFL after the 2015 season.

Amazon could try to entice Manning with a contract similar to Tony Romo's and the possibility of teaming up with Al Michaels, Marchand adds. Romo received $180 million over 10 years from CBS last year, while Amazon may team up with NBC.

Manning has been a consistent presence on TV despite not accepting a broadcasting offer. He hosts "Peyton's Places" and "Detail" on ESPN+, and he's twice competed in The Match.
