Twitch hack: Amazon gaming site says user details may have been stolen

Passwords and keys reset to protect customers, says blogpost, after 'possible unauthorised access' on live-streamed service

Amazon Twitch unit has warned of "possible unauthorised access" to some user account information on the live-stream gaming network.

Twitch said it had expired passwords and stream keys, and disconnected accounts from Twitter and YouTube to protect the users. In an official blogpost, Twitch administrators continued:

You will be prompted to create a new password the next time you attempt to log into your Twitch account.

We also recommend that you change your password at any website where you use the same or a similar password. We will communicate directly with affected users with additional details.
