Bluetooth stops on disconnect
by pchristy from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5K9QK)
System: Slackware64-current (up to date) Kernel 5.12.10
This only happens on my desktop machine, which uses a bluetooth dongle. Both my laptop, and Raspberry Pi-400 (Slarm64-current) behave as expected.
The issue: I can connect to bluetooth devices without a problem (speakers, headphones, Android phone). But as soon as I disconnect - by whatever means (disconnect via the bluetooth widget, or simply switch the device off) - the bluetooth system exits. I have to restart it with "sudo /etc/rc.d/rc.bluetooth restart".
I'm at a loss finding the issue here! Anyone else had this, or can suggest a solution? Its been going on for quite a while, and I think its about time I fixed it!
Cheers,
