Hamilton police release new suspect images in David Anderson homicide case
Hamilton police are asking the public to review two photos of suspects they believe are tied to the senseless" shooting of 38-year-old David Anderson.
Anderson was found shot around 10:30 p.m. on April 28 in an alley that runs between Birch and Gibson avenues, north of Cannon Street, near his home. He was later pronounced dead in hospital.
Police believe four male suspects entered Anderson's home in a targeted robbery, looking for drugs and cash, before the shooting.
The new images released by police Wednesday show two of the alleged suspects - wearing hoodies and long pants - on the front porch of a home.
Police have previously released video of the alleged suspects fleeing down an alley just east of Gibson after the shooting. Another video showed three of the four men crossing Sherman Avenue North, near Rosemont Avenue, soon after.
Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to call Det. David Brewster of the major crime unit at 905-546-4067.
To remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or crimestoppershamilton.com.
