Microsoft has unveiled Windows 11 as it seeks to modernise the world's most popular desktop software, add Android apps and improve gaming without alienating users.
Announced during a livestream that had some technical issues, Windows 11 will replace Windows 10 and marks the biggest change to the 35-year-old operating system since 2015.
