I would like to start this post by saying my last login was 06-13-09. I am getting OLD!! And this amazing forum is still around.

The issue, I could not find the correct combination of miniDLNA and FFMPEG with the Slackware 14.2 installation. I'm sure something went wrong somewhere but in the end with a fresh install this is the combination of packages that worked for me.

Fresh 14.2 Slackware install.

minidlna-1.2.1-x86_64-1gds.txz

ffmpeg-3.2.4-x86_64-2_slonly.txz

avahi-0.7-x86_64-1_slonly.txz

I tried many things, compiling, slackbuilds, etc. In the end this was the combination of packages that worked for me. I might break it at some point by updating ffmpeg.

miniDLNA serves my @home streaming just fine as I've been using it for over a decade. Yes, there might be better solutions out there but this is my favorite!

Hope this helps someone out there.latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=wxHwHQ6f68E:vvSMu7qMvAQ:F7zBnMy latest?i=wxHwHQ6f68E:vvSMu7qMvAQ:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=wxHwHQ6f68E:vvSMu7qMvAQ:gIN9vFwwxHwHQ6f68E
