[SOLVED] Where does the Universal Input Method (UIM) write the configuration file for hotkeys?
by Sidicas from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5KJTH)
You can configure uim using these apps:
uim-pref-gtk
uim-pref-gtk3
uim-pref-qt5
But where do the hotkey mappings configured actually end up?
Couldn't find any documentation on this at all.
I need to copy my language control hotkeys from one PC to another because it takes too long to manually redo them.
The only files/folders that I found searching for uim are in ~/.uim.d
However, I have copied this over and logged out / logged in and the language control hotkeys are still the UIM defaults on my other 2 PCs.
I've also tried copying over ~/.xinputrc , ~/.bashrc and ~/.profile
Still no luck.
Can't seem to find the right configuration file to copy over.
Very frustrating that it's not well documented.
