Installing -current for Idiots

Hi folks,

My hard drive is aging so I bought an SSD to replace it. I figured that when I install it I might as well give -current a try. After a bunch of Google searching, I couldn't find a decent way to try -current except by installing 14.2 and then upgrading from there. I'd prefer to start fresh. I tried AlienBob's mirror-slackware-current.sh script but it kept complaining it couldn't find the source to download it no matter which one I tried (I suspect PEBKAC here). At any rate:

1) What is the easiest way to download/install -current since there is no official ISO that I am aware of?

2) I know there are a couple of packages to be cautious about if/when Pat upgrades them. What are those packages and what precautions should I take?latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=SPf63SIN7EQ:NRbcz4XIrtc:F7zBnMy latest?i=SPf63SIN7EQ:NRbcz4XIrtc:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=SPf63SIN7EQ:NRbcz4XIrtc:gIN9vFwSPf63SIN7EQ
