/dev/cdrom disappears during iso mount in Virtualbox

Hi guys,
What happened to this :D this is the most essential thing that always worked in Slackware.
1. I installed a fresh new Slack current from this iso - https://slackware.nl/slackware/slackware64-current-iso/ - in Virtual box for some script development on my Win10 desktop.
2. Usually my next step is to install Guest additions by "insert guest addition CD image", but as soon as I do this the /dev/cdrom disappears from the system... In fact any attempt to insert iso image into the Virtualbox cdrom optical device has the same effect...
Do I miss some trivial thing that was change regarding /dev/cdrom? The device is on IDE controller so there should be no issues...
