Download LabView using SNAPD

Hi
Have done terminal commands as below for Snapd,
https://snapcraft.io/install/snap-store/mint
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
Shows in the Software manager, but I cannot find ?
I then want to download LabView
LabVIEW2016RTE_Linux.tgz
Should I persist with Snapd or use a sudo command in terminal. And what would that be ?
