Construction forces downtown Hamilton’s Greek Palace uptown

Downtown Hamilton's Greek Palace restaurant has found a new uptown home.

The John Street North staple made the move to the Mountain after a series of closures that they said were completely out of our hands."

A series of social media posts describes the roller-coaster of construction to their store front on John.

They first shut down in late February 2020 due to renovations, then reopened for limited pickup and delivery in July of last year, and finally they said they were forced to shut down again due to construction required by the City of Hamilton" in a Instagram post on Oct. 15, 2020, and that they were in the works to find another location."

New beginnings happened last week at 2200 Rymal Rd. E.

Greek Palace announced that their new location was up and running on July 15. They're open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Friday, noon to 9 p.m. Saturday and they are closed on Sunday.
