re-subscribing to my own unsubscribed threads
by newbiesforever from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5MG32)
I'm not sure whether anyone else on LQ does this: because I don't like clutter, I periodically unsubscribe to some of my own posts if, for any reason, I'm not interested in their discussion anymore. I want only the threads I'm interested in to stay on my subscribed screen.
If I ever change my mind (or just wonder what I said), what's a quick and efficient way to re-subscribe to my own posts when I don't necessarily remember what they are? I tried going to Search and then searching for all threads started by me, but I keep getting gateway timeouts. (Yeah, I'm not surprised, if I have it searching for every thread I ever started.) Is there a better way that I haven't thought of?
Oh, right...limiting by date. ...Hmm. I thought I just solved my own problem, but perhaps not. I set the search to look up every post from the last year, and I'm still getting gateway timeouts. I can't have posted that many posts in 2021 when 2021 is barely 7/12 done.
