Fire in rural Hamilton home causes $85,000 in damage

A fire at a home just west of Binbrook early Saturday morning caused about $85,000 in damage.
No one was hurt in the fire at 3359 Tisdale Rd., a rural, two-storey home where Hamilton firefighters responded to shortly after 4:05 a.m.
Assistant deputy chief Shawn de Jager said crews were met with a working blaze in the rear portion of the dwelling upon arrival.
A quick knockdown was achieved with some extension into the house," he said over email.
The cause of the fire has been determined to be electrical in nature.
