[SOLVED] eyeD3 vs -current July 26th
by andrew.46 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5MK7P)
I have returned to my old friend eyeD3 under Slackware -current (of July 26th 2021). I built the version available from Ponce's repository as well as the dependencies of pathlib, pylast and python-magic.
This reports as:
Code:andrew@ilium~$ eyeD3 --version
0.8.10
andrew@ilium~$However eyeD3, under -current, does not function at all on my system. The following command should list all of the tags in the file:
Code:andrew@ilium/mnt/ssd2/ftgws$ eyeD3 --verbose test.mp3
Nothing to do
andrew@ilium/mnt/ssd2/ftgws$And does not, while simple tagging operations show the same result. I cannot work this one out and I am checking to see if anybody under -current has eyeD3 working?
