[SOLVED] Chromium won't launch anymore

Starting today, Chromium won't launch anymore. When I click the icon, the task shows in the task bar for a moment or two then vanishes. When I launch in Konsole, I get a couple strange errors.

/snap/chromium/1685/snap/command-chain/desktop-launch: line 50: /home/carl/.config/user-dirs.dirs: Permission denied
ERROR: not connected to the gnome-3-28-1804 content interface.

user-dirs.dirs is set to carl:carl 600. I tried changing it to 777, but still got Permission Denied (changed it back to 600). I renamed the file to see if it would recreate it but then got an error saying it wasn't found along with the second error.

I renamed ./config/chromium but no change

When I log out and into another ID, I only get the second error.latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=G0Cl0yQrexI:Vjist1elJL0:F7zBnMy latest?i=G0Cl0yQrexI:Vjist1elJL0:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=G0Cl0yQrexI:Vjist1elJL0:gIN9vFwG0Cl0yQrexI
