Do rescue disks remove Linux malware?

Hello, there are several rescue disk programs which scan the hard drive before the computer boots. Some examples are Kaspersky Rescue Disk, Dr. Web, ESET SysRescue Live, Trend Micro. Does any of those programs target Linux malware?
